What’s one thing you wish someone had told you earlier in your career?

I wish someone had told me earlier to truly embrace failure as an essential and inevitable part of the learning process rather than something to fear or avoid. At the beginning of my career, I was extremely cautious, constantly worried about making mistakes, being judged, or falling short of expectations, which often made me play it safe and miss out on opportunities that could have accelerated my growth. I spent too much time overthinking, seeking perfection, and waiting for the “right moment,” instead of taking action and learning along the way. Over time, through real experiences, challenges, and setbacks, I slowly realized that failure is not a reflection of my abilities but a powerful teacher that shapes resilience, confidence, and perspective. Every mistake I made helped me understand my strengths, identify my weaknesses, and refine my approach, and today I see failures not as roadblocks but as necessary stepping stones that have played a crucial role in my personal and professional development.
